Cathleen will share her family’s favorite holiday-inspired plant-based side dish and dessert. The class will include botanically inspired recipes using seasonal, locally–sourced, and native ingredients to Santa Barbara County.
If you’re still planning your New Years Eve menu or just looking for some fun recipes for small celebrations in 2022, we have a tasty side and a sweet treat to wow your friends and family:
Cathleen is a mother, chef, baker, botanist, and gardener who loves creating delicious and healthy foods. She values the art of gardening, growing, and incorporating the many herbs, edible flowers, fruits, and vegetables from her home garden into her culinary creations.

Rooted SBC believes good health and food skills & literacy are basic human rights and we’re working to ensure our classes are low-to-no cost for any community member who needs them. Ticket costs for this class are free but as a volunteer-run organization, we rely heavily upon your donations. Want to pay it forward? Add on a donation to help us ensure our programs stay accessible.
